Se llamaban originalmente "The Ardells", fue una banda de West Palm Beach, Florida, EEUU, formada en 1959. En 1964 cambian su nombre por "The American Beetles" y sus integrantes se llamaban Bill, Tom, Dave y Vic. Inician una gira por Sudamerica y España. En Argentina graban un EP con 4 temas en el sello "Disc Jockey". Luego en 1966 se reforman con el nombre " The Razor's Edge" y graban un disco single.
