The 2 series is actually quite split
You have the 2 coupe (here)
RWD, classic BMW stuff
But then you have the Gran Coupe
Which is basically a MINI (FWD)
The Coupe is the one you WANT
And the M240i is the one you want
Engine
And that’s because the M240i gets you THIS
The B58 3.0 straight 6…possibly the best all-around engine in existence right now
It’s wildly powerful, durable, tunable, and efficient
382 hp
369 lbft
Same as M340i, M440i, Supra, etc
But ti’s not EXACTLY the same
The M240i engine DOESNT get the 48V mild hybrid
Still about 26 mpg combined

Let’s be honest it’s making more like 400hp or MORE
Going through the ZF 8 speed
Incredible gearbox btw
To either RWD OR AWD
Canada doesnt get RWD i dont think
M sport differential
0-60 in low 4 seconds

What’s not brilliant is the way it looks IMO
You HAVE to get the M Sport to make it looks ok
Last gen certainly looks better
