SITC established the Academy of Immuno-Oncology to honor individuals who have made a substantial impact to the cancer immunotherapy field, propelling it to the breakthrough cancer treatment it is today. Annually, SITC conducts an open call for nominations and inducts a new class of Fellows into the Academy of Immuno-Oncology, one of the society’s most prestigious honors.

Fellows of the Academy of Immuno-Oncology bear the designation “FAIO.”
