The effects of Tropical Storm Ida are taking a toll on an already evident housing problem in New Jersey. Advocates say it’s getting harder to find places for displaced families to live as emergency hotels are already full because of the pandemic. They say they hope the weather disaster is a wake-up call to finally create much-needed affordable housing in the state.
