Filmed with a Panasonic GH5 camera - https://amzn.to/3eN0Op2 Watch a 6.2l LT5 ZR1 Corvette engine get built from scratch by a technician like done so at the factory in bowling green kentucky. Starting off as a bare block watch the bottom end get installed followed by the rods pistons heads valvetrain and the almighty superchargrr These engines can now be ordered in crate form for your project as well! Also confirmed to be the engine for the base C8 mid engined Corvette. just like it’s built at gm manufacturing plant. Personally I think that MOPAR has the best V8 right now. Their 6.2L found in the Hellcat Redeye and Demon makes 797 or 808 horsepower and over 840 when used with 100 octane race gas. Not to mention they have a crate engine dubbed the Hellephant that makes 1000HP and features a larger 3.0L eaton supercharger compared to the LT5's 2.65l and the LT4's 2.4l.

Note unlike the original LT5 from the early 90's C4 Corvettes that was built by mercury marine, this engine is OHV with pushrods, not DOHC
