Step by Step!
Lawnmower not starting on the 1st pull anymore?
Today I'll show you how to "Shim" valves on just about any lawnmower!
For the most part, all OHV (Overhead Valve) engines are designed the same way. The Rocker Arm will have a lock-nut and an adjusting screw, and you'll be turning that adjusting screw to set your valve clearances to the manufacturers spec.
You'll need some basic tools to complete this job; (wrenches, socket set) and some more advanced tools; (Feeler gauge set, torque wrench and possibly a crows foot wrench).
Simply follow the steps in this video and you'll be back to cutting grass in no time!
