One of the very best kinds of car in the world is an estate. Call it what you will: station wagon, dad chariot, weekender, sportwagon or shooting brake, the fact of the matter is the second a manufacturer adds a big open area behind the rear seats and seals the deal with a hatch, it's a winner. In typical Top Gear fashion though, we like them fast and reasonably priced. That's why we have lined up the Scoda Octavia VRS next to the Cupra Leon Estate 2.0 TSI VZ2 for a lap around the Top Gear test track in the hands of The Stig.
