Though we may think of ourselves as living in a highly developed society, we're actually very much in the baby stage of technological development. However, according to scientists, humanity is at a turning point in its history, and the direction we take in the coming century will determine the fate of our civilization for future generations.

This is the stuff of gods: the ability to willfully create universes, and manipulate space and time. Could we ever establish a civilization of type 7? Why could this possibly be a terrible idea?
