A few years back we went on one of our many Jeep adventures to explore Zion National Park. Somehow in the process we fell in love with Utah. Fast forward to 2018 and we are building a house there.
This is the first of a series of episodes to document the progress.

Once we purchased the property, my mom decided to sell her house in Southern California and move out near our land where the days are calmer - perfect for retiring and staying connected to nature. She actually grew up in Southern Utah, so in a way, it is like returning home for her.

This is perfect for Maggie and I because now we get to see mom every time we take a trip to our second home (which will be often).

Utah is known for abundant national parks, off-roading, and endless breath-taking scenery. We're happy to have you along to enjoy it with us.
