Purists BEWARE!!

Here at Heat Lightning Speed Shop we had an odd request to do an engine swap on a Toyota Chaser. Not your typical GTE conversion... We were asked to put a SBC Chevy LS engine in it.

We are JZ lovers here in the shop so we were a bit hesitant on doing the swap at first. The car did start out as a GX100 so no 1JZ was harmed in the process!! After trying to convince him on going 1JZGTE Justin, the owner of the car, was adamant on hearing some American Muscle noises out of the back of this car!

So here it is!

This video is a pretty thorough walkaround of the build, including the dyno day of it getting tuned on a Holley Terminator X.
