When making the decision to buy a laptop I was torn between choosing the apple M1 macbook pro 16", a 4K laptop and maybe a laptop with an OLED screen. I ended up with a the HP Envy 17.3" CR0503SA which cost me £799 in the new year sale, originally £1050, so none of the above.

It really took me a long time to decide and like most of you spent many hours searching the internet, watching YouTube videos that kind of showed the product, but did not answer many of my concerns.

Having owned this laptop since January, I can report that I don't have any regrets with the laptop itself, let me explain. I work full time and in my spare time I make YouTube videos on mainly cars, but also items that i purchase for myself, and then I think ok let's make a video on this as others may find it helpful.

Look if I had the money I would have chosen the macbook pro 16".
It has all the latest tech, great spec, and I do think it justifies the huge price tag, but I couldn't afford it so that was that.

As part of my job I present demos on my laptop, 1 on 1, so me owning a 13" laptop doesn't work for. This screen is perfect for this and is great for me showing off my company's product, and the added touch screen functionality adds to the interaction and enjoyment factor.

As I knew I could be working in cafes and hotels i wanted a laptop that would be powerful and reliable enough to work well in areas of poor broadband, and the latest wifi tech in this product has never let me down. Trying to work out how to connect takes no time at all, and has been really reliable.

One of the best features of this laptop is the screen, it has a lovely glossy look to it, and the colours really pop. The motion control is excellent when watching videos, and colour excellently reproduced.

The webcam quality is great, HP have done a great job, and although the spec might put you off, dont worry im a tech nerd and i'm really happy with the picture and sound quality.

The keyboard is massive, and is a little clunky compared to my apple, but as i explain in the video, it works really well for travelling on trains.
The only week point is the touchpad, it does feel a little cheap but i can forgive it for that.

Battery life is fine, although most of the time I have it plugged in.

Its a large and heavy laptop, so I would advise a backpack for lugging this thing around, unless your built like Arnold.

Such a great laptop for the price, ask me as many comments as you like, enjoy.
