There’s growing evidence that ultra-processed foods are linked to inflammatory diseases like Crohn’s disease, metabolic diseases like type 2 diabetes, certain cancers, depression and anxiety, obesity - which increases the risk of heart attacks and stroke.

Junk food - which contains ultra processed ingredients - is now linked to obesity, disease and depression.
