The final processing and scaling steps for diffraction data from two-dimensional position-sensitive detectors created in X-ray diffraction experiments performed on single crystals of macromolecules are described. The integrated Bragg reflections are reduced to a unique set of reflections (h, k. l, Intensity, standard uncertainty) by the scaling process which also
1. Determines and confirms the crystallographic space group,
2. Corrects for systematic errors,
3. Validates the estimated standard deviations,
4. Rejects outlier measurements,
5. Averages the multiple or replicate measurements and reports statistics, R factors, and correlation coefficients.

The lecture was held on the 13th of July 2020 via Zoom and attended by ~25 participants from different institutions/countries.
