I left the Megavalanche in Alpe d’huez feeling a little dissatisfied because I knew I could have done slightly better if my start was a bit cleaner.

However, I didn’t have long to dwell on the matter as I had another mass start race - the Megavalanche in Auron - just around the corner…

It was a beautiful drive up and down the D64 so I turned the camera on to see if I could catch anything interesting. Unfortunately all I got was me doing a terrible job of signing and talking nonsense on the way back North again. Haha!

I basically describe my two crashes and the need to do a bit more training - you can never be fit enough for this kind of racing!

This week I’ve been full of Covid so nothing interesting has happened other than sleeping A LOT. I’m also interested to see if people like this style of video so please let me know what you think.
