This is absolute proof that ANYONE can reach the 1000 benchmark.

I was always hesitant about starting a channel. However, once it starting rolling and some positive feedback came in, it really motivated me to continue.

My most important focus was to always stay true to what I like doing. Here's a list of things I did.

- Record and edit things that I enjoy.
- Always try and improve the "next video".
- Keep the content family friendly.
- Promoted my channel on a Facebook page.
- Make sure everyone I know or speak to knows I have a channel.
- Listen to peoples ideas of what they might like to see.
- Try and keep the video "cohesive" in terms of timeline.
- Focus on what you think people will want to see in the video.
- Keep your facts truthful to the best of your knowledge.

My channels focus is on automotive repair, UTV ATV repair and rides. Hunting and fishing. Repairing TV's and electronics "within my scope" Garage projects.

The problem with my channel I think is that it is too diverse. YouTube's algorithm sometimes struggles on where to place me. However this has really helped me find areas to focus on via my channels analytics. I now know the direction to steer my channel in. Finding my niche.

In part 2 of this little series, I'll show you guys the equipment I have currently and what I started with.

I really hope this helps to motivate people starting out.
