What does it take to build a Just and Resilient Democracy? How do we find common political ground in our communities? In November 2023, staff of the Friends Committee on National Legislation set out to Ross County, Ohio to listen and learn.

Acknowledging different viewpoints and opinions while respecting the messenger is a Quaker tradition. We strive to disagree authentically, advocate persistently, and approach legislators believing common ground exists.
