Bristol-Myers Squibb has roots going all the way back to 1858 and the civil war as a supplier of medical supplies to Union Soldiers. Today operations look slightly different as much of what they do is researching new drugs and treatments for some of the worst diseases afflicting man.

We first evaluate the financial health of the company and from there go into the various risks associated with owning BMS. After that, we go over the catalysts that Bristol-Myers Squibb has coming up and talk about their various acquisitions over the years.

Finally, I believe that Bristol-Myers Squibb (NYSE: BMY) is a tremendous company with a bright future ahead of it. In addition to the growing dividend, I believe they are ramping up the research and development of new drugs.
