Two months ago, Aston Martin sent us a new Vantage, and it didn’t exactly go well. The car was an early pre-production build, and exhibited some electrical gremlins, poor body fitment, and an overly stiff ride. Turns out the electrical issues and poor ride may have been linked, as Aston Martin says the vehicle’s check engine light was causing the adaptive shocks to not work properly. They asked if they could send us another car, so here we are again, having another go with the car. The 2019 Vantage features an AMG-sourced 4.0L Twin-Turbo V8, ZF Eight-Speed Transaxle, and tight, yet aggressive proportions. It is the most spacious and practical Vantage ever, with the largest trunk. It is certainly the fastest Vantage ever too, but at what cost?
