The brand new Solar Eclipse Ebike has a featherweight Carbon Fiber frame limiting the weight to just 138lb while simultaneously packing a potent 72v 45ah 3240Wh battery under the hood. This Solar Eclipse Review will show you my experience on this electric dirt bike and what you can expect from it.

All that lithium ion juice is pulled from a 300 amp max 120 amp continuous sine wave controller and sent to a swing arm mounted PMSM electric motor capable of running 2500 watts continuous and cutting you off at 8000w max out of the box stock - although I have received instructions on how to bump this power limit up to untamed this newbie-friendly beast... new video coming soon!

In sport mode the spec sheet claims this electric motorcycle can hit speeds of 60 mph, but the dashboard tells a different story. I hit 55 mph according to the onboard speedometer, but closer to 50mph according to my GPS speedometer, in stock form with a 200lb rider.

The Solar E-Clipse has integrated regenerative brake levers built into the brake levers, which is always a welcomed feature - not so much for recharging the battery, but more so for saving unneeded wear and tear on the brake pads and rotors.

If you've been looking at the Sur Ron Ultra Bee you may notice a resemblance in this Ebike, however, the internals are significantly different.

This Electric motorcycle comes with a key fob, push button start, a 10 amp charger, KKE Factory suspension, and an IP67 water resistance rating. The max user weight is 330 lbs. It has a headlight and turn signals, and will become road legal in the USA and Europe.

As of the time I'm writing this description the Solar E-Clipse is still the Ebike you can't buy... even if you wanted to.
