I have watched the entire season of True Detective: Night Country and I can safely say it just gets worse and worse. This is one of--if not THE--worst mysteries I've ever seen, and I can't imagine how its ending makes anybody happy. Nothing pays off, the characters just get more awful as the story drags on, and the only surprising thing about it is just how utterly predictable it all is. Wow.
