Installing two LED round lights behind the grill of a 4th generation Ram 1500. THIS CAN ALSO BE APPLIED TO OTHER VEHICLES

3 pin switches (for replacing the cheap switch that comes with the wiring harness):
1) remove the switch revealing the three wires (Black= Ground/ Red= positive/ yellow or White= switch illumination positive wire)

2) the new switch will have 3 pins, using female crimp pin connectors, install the red and black wire on each of the two outer most pins.

3) the center pin on the switch is where you will need to install the yellow or white wire.

4) then drill a 3/4 hole in desired dash location (3/4" is the average size but verify the diameter hole required).
