If you listen to our podcasts, you’ve heard Ken Adams doing voiceover on our recordings. Ken has been behind the scenes helping founder Michael Lerner with production at The New School since our beginning, in 2007.

Back then, a few people were doing podcasts, but we felt lucky to find a place to put our recordings (we started with iTunes). As we continued to do “slow conversation”--in depth conversations where you get to know the lives and work of the incredible thought- and action-leaders that we talk with--the podcast industry grew up around us.

These days, a 2-minute segment is considered looooong and there are dozens of well produced podcasts from many sources. But if you appreciate getting the whole story, exploring everything from “soul activism,” to indigenous connection to the land, to leading thinking about the polycrisis, and much more--in a home-grown setting with a group of kind-hearted and very authentic and insightful people in Northern California…..then, welcome to The New School and thanks for being with us.
