This lesson explains the inefficiency of skimming and scanning during the IELTS exam. It shows you how to read effectively and scan precisely with purpose for the answers in the IELTS Reading Section for the passages. There are many logical and appropriate techniques for answering the 40 questions for True, False, Not Given, Multiple Choice, and List of Headings. In this video we take a sample reading from our premium course at AEHelp called, “Technology in 2040” to prove methods for getting high band scores.

This video is a part in a series that teaches the steps necessary to achieve a high score, between 7 to 9, on the IETLS reading section questions. The series is separated into three sections: 1. Introduction with Example, 2. Key Strategies and Planning, 3. Specific question strategies. This series will teach you the skills that will help you to reach success on this question in the 60 minute time limit.
