On 6th January 2023, Turntide accepted Hyperdrive's 2021 Queen's Award for Innovation, with a ceremony at the Turntide battery plant in Sunderland, UK. Present were His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Tyne and Wear and the Mayor of Sunderland.
