This is an easy Cherry Coke marinade for ribs. A Smoked Baby Back Ribs recipe that will knock your socks off. I was really amazed at how well, how tasty and how delicious these ribs turned out. I will be definitely be using this recipe for smoking other cuts of meat down the road.
This recipe will work well with up to 4 to 6 pounds of ribs.
Marinade:
20 ounce bottle Ketchup
12 ounce bottle Chili Sauce
1 cup Brown Sugar
1 bottle (16.9 ounce) Cherry Coke
1 tsp Red Pepper flakes
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
2 Tbsp Ground Mustard
2 Tbsp Ground Black Pepper
Basting Sauce.
Add to the above recipe and simmer for ten to fifteen minutes.
1 cup Cherry Preserve
2 Tbsp Honey
Rib Rub:
Private Selection™ Kansas City Seasoning Rub
or Use your favorite or preferred rub.
Wood:
Use apple or cherry or a combination on both.
