Learning how to condition a baseball glove is not hard at all actually. You just rub the conditioner all over the glove and you’re good to go. The one thing you can mess up though is buying the wrong conditioner. Sarna is now the only glove conditioner I use. They let me use the stuff for a few months and I fell in love because it doesn’t damage the glove whatsoever. The conditioner from Sarna is water based so it dries up after it conditions the glove. Other glove conditioners are oil or wax based so they don’t dry up ever. Therefore the leathers pores are smothered and it damages the leather and like seen in the video it can cause it to get floppy.
