Turns out I couldn't shake the urge to vid these two in a much more traditional fanvid kind of way! When I heard this song – particularly 'I know you're wondering why / Because we're able to be / Just you and me / Within these walls / But when we go outside / You're going to wake up and see that it was hopeless after all' – it all clicked for me; the push and pull of it all, the miscommunications, the disapproval from others, the highs, the lows, etc. is so very Rory and Jess, imo. One day these two will get their timing right...
