First tree of the season, one that we had been looking at for a few years now. A dead Australian Red Gum, right on the fence line, 2 metres away from the road.
Due to a couple of tangled up branches in a neighbouring tree there was only one safe escape route and one safe direction for the tree to fall in. We had to make it work.
Definitely the last time I relied on cheap plastic wedges off eBay. Time to upgrade to some Aluminium wedges.
