It is interesting that even though CSS grid is already 5 years old, usage of CSS grid is not as widespread as it could be. There are many factors at play that could determine whether a project uses CSS grid or not, particularly if the team as a whole is less proficient in CSS. In this talk, we will go through the thought process for implementing a grid system for an application’s frontend, and my experience on weighing the different options available.
