Seven Days In Utopia hits theaters on September 2nd, 2011.

Down-and-out golfer Luke Chisholm (Black) is about to take a detour into an enchanting small town and an incredible camaraderie that will become a game-changer in more ways than he could ever imagine. It all begins with a major, mid-tournament meltdown, just as Luke is supposed to be making his big breakthrough to the pro tour. In a blowup so embarrassing it spurs news headlines, Luke drives his father/coach to abandon him, and seemingly squanders his promising career. But when he heads out onto the Texas back-roads to blow off some steam, Luke instead blows right through the pasture fence of eccentric rancher Johnny Crawford (Duvall) -- and finds himself stranded smack in the middle of the tiny, unsung town of Utopia . . . which will have an impact far greater than the sum of its parts.

Just as it looks like Luke's day couldn't get any worse, Johnny offers him an implausible but irresistible deal: spend the next seven days in Utopia and see if it doesn't change his life's course entirely. The next thing he knows, Luke is being lured into a wild summer adventure of dodging rodeo bulls, piloting airplanes and fishing in untamed rivers. It seems like a good old time, which Luke could certainly use, but woven through the fun comes Johnny's hard-won personal lessons about heart, faith and why becoming who you were meant to be has nothing to do with winning, and everything to do with how you approach the game.

After searching in Utopia for a lot of things -- reconciliation, redemption, romantic love and a better drive off the tee -- Luke is ready take a chance on his last shot at a pro career. Only this time he's equipped with the one thing that really matters: a sense of higher purpose he's ready to put into play.
