The study:
Emotions are drivers of brand success. People are able to recognize 6 core emotions: happy, surprised, afraid, disgusted, angry, and sad. CoolTool wanted to study out did #PepsiSweepstakesOK campaign deal great with the task of provoking positive emotions via facial expressions analysis. Actually, for whom Pepsi is more than ok?

The problem was the experience of ordering a cola at a bar is still Coke-focused. In the words of David Johnston, founder of design agency Accept & Proceed, when people go the bar and ask for a coke, the usual response is still apologetically 'It's Pepsi ... is that OK?'". The goal was to get across the idea 'Pepsi is more than ok". For this ad, the brand attracted three famous persons the audience loves. CoolTool uncovers how Pepsi and Cola consumers react to the new Pepsi ad presented on Super Bowl 2019 using AI-webcam Eye Tracking and Emotion Measurement. As a result were analyzed emotions and branding performance about the Pepsi ad with well-known Cardi B, Lil' Jon and Steve Carell.

In order to uncover the insights, CoolTool used the following technologies:
AI-powered webcam eye tracking (shows where the viewers’ attention goes)
Emotion measurement (measure emotional feedback of viewers via facial coding, by recording emotions simultaneously with the people's eyes movement)
Implicit test (used to measure brain System 1 response - how ads impact implicit connections and check if ad s could break existing stereotypes or archetypes)
Surveys (used to get demographic data and answers to closed and open-ended questions)
