Of course Chief Product Officer Andrew Welker answered that question (and others) in the YouTube Comments, but “Is Room Correction EQ” seemed like a great idea for its own video. The extremely short answer is yes, it is. As always, there is a lot more to it that Andrew goes into detail about. 

The biggest difference is an analog EQ, or tone control, has a fixed number of sliders for a fixed number of frequencies. Digital room correction is far more sophisticated and is limited only by the processing power available. There's more going on than even that, so tune in and watch to learn about room correction. 📺
