First off; The Altoona Association of Model Railroaders' (AAMR) N scale weekend at the Blair County Convention Center in Altoona PA was an amazing event, they and all the other participants, operators, module owners, vendors, etc. were a very welcoming and helpful group, without their help, our first attempt at a "free-mo" module would have gone nowhere. Our module is still very much a work in progress, intended to feature the area in Altoona around ALTO tower and 17th street. The video shows the sheer variety of modules and trains, with everything from modern Amtrak, big boys and even gasp an NYC Hudson traversing not just our module, but the layout as a whole, with trestles, loops, yards and so much more. We want to thank the AAMR and everyone at the show who gave our first attempt at a module a chance and for all the great advice and tips! This was an incredible event, and be sure to check out the AAMR for the dates/times for their next show!
