The Swedish JAS-39 Gripen and the American F-35 Lightning II are in a fierce battle for a spot in the air forces of the world’s most powerful nations. Despite some jaw-dropping capabilities though, the Gripen is losing this fight; it is less popular, less backed up, and from a less reputable background than the American fighter. But it won’t give up the fight as it proves its undeniable worth by wowing the air forces of Thailand, India, Czech Republic… hold on, the latest news on this is that the Czech Republic just opted for the F-35 Lightning II.
