Taiwan has a rich tea culture, so it only makes sense to go and learn about and try some tea during a Taiwanese tea tasting at a Taiwanese tea ceremony! The first wild tea trees in Taiwan were found in 1717, but tea cultivation only started in the early 19th century. But now Taiwan produces about 20% of the world's Oolong Tea.

In this video, I head into the Shiding district of New Taipei City to visit the tea plantations, go to Pinglin old street for a traditional Taiwanese tea tasting, and visit the Pinglin tea museum!
