This video give you an inside look into the life of an Agricultural Helicopter Spray Pilot. I get to go out with a pilot in New Zealand to get an detailed look at what it takes to be an Ag spray pilot and what their operation looks like.

They are flying a Robinson R44 helicopter with spray booms attached. Their hilly terrain along with obstacles like trees and powerlines makes it especially challenging for these pilots. There is a huge list of protocols that these operators need to follow to make sure they are staying safe.

This operator is called Far North Helicopters and run by incredibly experienced and diligent pilots. It was a pleasure to see their operation.
