The adidas Ultra 4D merges the brand’s most popular silhouette of the past decade, the Ultraboost, with adidas’ latest and greatest in midsole cushioning technology: 4D. The result is a a hybrid sneaker with a Primeknit upper featuring the colorway of the original 2015 Ultraboost, and a blacked-out 4D midsole. This is a great mash up because of how much both of these things mean to adidas.

The UltraBoost is a big part of adidas as one of their best sellers, 4D technology is a major leap in terms of sneaker cushioning potential. 4D is a cushioning system you really cant get on any other sneaker and has a opens a big gap for adidas to fill with its intelligent use case. 4D is a 3D printed midsole and can be custom made to whatever the requirements of the consumer, thus opening the door to a whole new type of sneaker.
