Wind gusts blowing into the Las Vegas valley will get more powerful by Saturday and could cause damage, power outages, and travel hazards. The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a high wind warning starting at 7 a.m. and ending on Sunday at 10 a.m. On Friday, Southwest Airlines reached out to customers about the weather conditions set to take place on Saturday, by allowing them to re-book their travel plans due to the high winds. The airline is the largest carrier at Harry Reid International Airport. The airline warning noted that flights in three cities, which include Las Vegas, Reno, and Salt Lake City, Utah will be experiencing longer delays.
