Lance 1985 RV Damage. In this video Kim and I are taking our Lance travel trailer RV into the shop once again for repairs. This is the second time now in a little over a year of ownership. Seems it's been in the shop more than it's been camping unfortunately. When we first purchased our Lance 1985 travel trailer last year we had some issues with the automatic jack not functioning along with some other cosmetic type issues. The dealership replaced most of those items under warranty. Unfortunately it took some back and forth to get them to agree to fix the problems that were covered under warranty. One of the biggest issues when dealing with the dealership with repairs. Our advise is to do you due diligence on what dealership you purchase your RV from. Do some checking online and see how others have been treated. We wish we would have done more research before choosing the dealership we used. In addition to the issues we had with the jack the base board you see in the photo also was pulled off due to poor workmanship. The dealership took about a month to fix it but we finally got it back only to have the baseboard come off again the first time we put the slide out. This time it caused major damage to the floor due to the screws gauging the surface. It has now been in the shop for over a month and they are having some issues getting the floor fixed.
