This video is about a growing problem I have encountered with an alarming amount of CD players in recent years. The problem is that many of them no longer support gapless playback, which I have never found to be an issue in the past. This is really terrible for listening to any album where tracks are meant to run seamlessly into each other without pausing as the track number moves from one track to another. I don't know why this is happening and it really upsets me. In this video, I explain more about what I mean, my experience of investigating this issue (via ringing hi-fi shops and the companies that produce the CD players, and the precautions you should take as a consumer to avoid ending up with a CD player that doesn't support gapless playback...
