Good day viewers!

I am back with a new series of videos. This time highlighting more of Route 66, aka The Mother Road. This time however, we start in Joplin Missouri, and head all the way to Chicago, IL.

In this first episode of the series, my son and I start in Nashville, TN, were we live and drive to Poplar Bluff, Missouri to check out the Bullwinkle Elk Lodge. Located in basically the middle of nowhere.

It was about a four hour drive from Nashville and about another four hour drive to Joplin Missouri. I decided on this location, because I did not want to drive a full 8 hours in one day.

We checked in, we then grabbed dinner at Bread+Butter just a few miles away, we then called it a night, as I was looking to get up early to begin the real start of our Route 66 vacation in Joplin MIssouri.
