The vastness of the Universe, the human soul and the dissolution of time are interconnected subjects and topics of countless fables and myths, all derived from human fascination with the infinite abyss of the cosmos and the unknown. Electronic music is a tool with which we enhance these imaginary landscapes and it thrives in the prurient and inquisitive mind. Nørbak’s “Flor do Fatalismo” is designed as a transposition of a deep human feeling into music: the longing. A paradox between the void and our necessity to belong. Each track in this body of work happens in a hypothetical scenery and stands on its own as if questioning our coherence, spirituality and the sovereignty of the human mind. Penetrating, spell-binding, unrestrained but eventually earthly and familiar, the abstract character of Artur’s music invites ingenuity and artistry from both the performers and the crowd.
