Welcome back! We are finally covering the 6L80 Thermal Bypass Mods. There are 4 unique mods that we will be covering in this video including the updated GM Thermal Bypass, the Pill flip, Drill and Tap, and Super Solutions retrofit.

Important note for transmission fluid level check:
I contacted Superior Transmissions and the said the proper way to check the fill level with their modification installed is with the truck running and the engine at operating temperature. For me, the engine operating temperature is around 210F. This is different than the procedures found in the GM truck owners manual. Please contact Superior Transmissions to clarify the correct procedure for your specific vehicle.
