In this video we install a milliamp meter in a k40 Laser Engraver. This is a great addition so that you know the exact output of your laser at the specific power percentage.

* CAUTION*
If you are attempting to make the same type of modification, make sure your unit is unplugged from power before attempting any work.

If I was to do this install again I would have drilled the larger hole. I tried to take the easy route and make the smaller hole, but I became more work in the long run.

The K40 Laser is a great entry level Laser for those that are looking to get into CO2 engraving. It definitely can be a versatile machine if you are willing to give it a chance.
