Continuing our study of the verses in which Allah ﷻ speaks directly to the Prophet ﷺ, we now look at Sura al-Fīl. Allah ﷻ says, "Have you not seen ˹O Prophet˺ how your Lord dealt with the Army of the Elephant? Did He not frustrate their scheme? For He sent against them flocks of birds, that pelted them with stones of baked clay, leaving them like chewed up straw." [Quran 105]

In this episode, we reflect on how Allah ﷻ protected the Kaʿba from the Army of the Elephant while also alluding to His protection of His Prophet ﷺ who, at the time, was in his mother's womb within Mecca. These verses further illustrate the degree of love, care, and protection Allah ﷻ granted His Beloved Messenger ﷺ.
