A Chinese non-profit organization is helping Djibouti combat visual impairment caused by cataracts. Launched in February 2023, the GX Foundation aims to eliminate the 6,000 local backlogged cases of cataract in the Horn of African country under a three-year MoU signed with local health authorities.
