The Toyota Highlander and Hyundai Palisade are two top-selling three-row SUVs. The Highlander comes with a 3.5L V6 engine with an 8 speed automatic transmission. It has 295 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque. The Palisade on the other hand has a 3.8L V6 engine with an 8 speed automatic transmission. It has 291 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. The Highlander LE AWD comes standard with an 8” touch screen, 4.2” driver display Apple Carplay and Android Auto, heated front seats, a second row bench seat that slides and reclines, the 3rd row lies flat and also reclines, 18” wheels, 20” available on the higher trims and LED headlamps.The Palisade AWD Preferred trim also comes standard with an 8” touchscreen, 7” driver display, heated rear seats, 20” wheels, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, leather wrapped and heated steering wheel, heated front seats, 2nd row reclining bench seat, one touch second row seat slide for access to the 3rd row, power tilt and slide sunroof, LED headlights. The Palisade offers extra standard features like a heated steering wheel, sunroof, heated rear seats and bigger wheels compared to the Highlander. If you want a moonroof, you will have to move up to the next trim on the Highlander and if you want a heated steering wheel, driver seat memory and heated and ventilated front seats, as well as, a panoramic moonroof, it’s the top Limited trim for you. If you would like a bigger touchscreen, the Platinum trim offers a 12.3” screen along with heated rear seats and a head-up display.The Palisade gets a 10.25” touchscreen, leather seating surfaces and ventilated front seats on the Luxury trim. The Ultimate Calligraphy trim gets you a 12.3” digital driver display, premium Nappa leather seats, a wireless charging pad, head-up display and ventilated rear seats.
