Welcome back to the first vlog of 2024! Today, Carlos and the TTM crew are ramping up for the upcoming Tinter Battles 2024 hosted this year in Orlando, Florida! One of the major competitions is the HEAT SHRINK BATTLE, which is a test on how quick an installer can shrink tint on a sedan bak glass, BUT they are not allowed to crease or damage the film!

Carlos also gets into the debate of what heat method tinters like the best, with the community divided on heat guns versus flame torches. At TTM, the team uses a whole variety of different tools and methods to get the finish they want. Check out what Carlos, Pete & Aidan say what they're using in the video!

BUT, this isn't a TEXAS TINT MASTERS video unless there's some crazy stuff happening right? We also whip out the good ole BORING COMPANY Flamethrower and test how quick we can shrink with it. Can you take any guesses to how that goes?

Last but not least, we also try some special windshield film sent over to us by our friends at EPD a.k.a. Energy Product Distribution to test on our company vehicle!
