About Richard Schafer, D.O.

Dr. Schafer is a Board Certified Family Medicine Specialist with more than 30 years of experience. He completed his medical education at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also served as Chief Intern at OSU Regional Medical Center in Tulsa.

Before transitioning to family medicine, Dr. Schafer earned a degree in veterinary science and has practiced as a veterinarian for more than 55 years.

In his free time, Dr. Schafer enjoys golfing, fishing, tending to cattle, and cherishing moments with his family.
