Jury at the Hillsborough inquest are shown footage from a crushing incident that occurred during the 1981 FA Cup semi-final - eight years before 96 people were killed at the same ground.

Thirty-eight fans were reportedly injured in a "crushing incident" at Hillsborough eight years before the tragedy which killed 96 people, an inquest into their deaths has heard.

Tottenham Hotspur fans spilled on to the perimeter track at the Leppings Lane end of the ground and others climbed fences shortly after the start of the 1981 FA Cup semi-final against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Jurors today watched a seven-minute clip of footage from the game.
